Client's Goals:

They wanted to add an addition to their second level above their existing three seasons room.  Along with creating a timeless interior, they wanted to make sure that the exterior also had that feeling.  We chose a dark siding which complemented the neutral front and side facades well. 

They also needed a separate bathroom from their children, so we were able to add an ensuite to their primary bedroom, which was their addition.

Points of Interest:

• Black exterior with black windows.  By keeping it all in one colour, gives the exterior a timeless and updated look.
• The ensuite!  The client’s wanted a Zen-like feeling for the bathrooms, so they kept the vanity, tiles and paint very neutral and warm.
• The plumbing fixtures for their ensuite were done in a soft gold, which added a touch of elegance to the space; for the common bathroom, they opted for black fixtures which is more practical in a kid’s space.
• The attic was elevated by updating the stairs, redoing the flooring and new paint!
